Neighborhood Stabilization Program

ROUND 3

Henry County has received notice that it has been awarded two grants for the third round of funds for the NSP 3 Program.

 Department of Housing & Urban Development          $1,217,736.00

Department of Community Affairs State of Georgia   $  530,473.00

Henry County NSP received an increase adjustment to the initial Grant awarded in March 2009.  The increase for acquisition of properties is $200,302.09.

Henry County NSP also received an extension of the Grant award period to September 5, 2010 from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

The federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established for the purpose of stablizing communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment.  Henry County was awarded NSP funding and will utilize these funds to rehabilitate previously foreclosed homes.  Contact us to learn how you can qualify to buy one of these newly rehabilitated homes!
